Luxembourg National Day is one of the country's biggest annual celebrations, bringing together locals and visitors for concerts, fireworks, parades and festive events across the Grand Duchy. Although National Day is officially celebrated on 23 June, most festivities take place on the evening of 22 June, when cities and communes throughout Luxembourg host open-air concerts, street parties and spectacular fireworks displays.

In Luxembourg City, celebrations begin with the traditional Changing of the Guard at the Grand Ducal Palace (16h), followed by the iconic torchlight procession (Fakelzuch) through the historic center (21h30). The evening culminates in a breathtaking fireworks display launched from the Pont Adolphe (23h), lighting up the capital's skyline.

Across the country, communes organize their own National Day events, offering residents and visitors the chance to experience Luxembourgish traditions, local food, live music and family-friendly activities.

On 23 June, the celebrations continue with official ceremonies, including a solemn ceremony at the Philharmonie (10h), a 21-gun salute (11h), the military parade on Avenue de la Liberté and the traditional Te Deum at Notre-Dame Cathedral (16h30).

Whether you're looking for fireworks, concerts, children's activities or local festivities, this guide brings together the best Luxembourg National Day 2026 events happening across the country.
